Chapter 1. The funny food

Oscar and olive lived with a normal family in a normal house on a normal street. They were normal dogs who liked normal doggy things- like balls, slippers, playing fetch, sleeping and sniffing but most of all they liked food.

At the start of yet another normal day, Oscar and Olive ran eagerly to their normal food bowls hungry for their normal breakfast. But that is where the normal stopped......

Their food bowls were EMPTY!!!! Things rapidly got worse as it became clear that there was no food in the house!

It took a lot of barking to alert the humans to this serious situation but eventually they took notice and hurried off to the normal pet food shop. But the normal had stopped once again!

In the pet food store, the shelves were empty and the cupboards were bare!

Except for a verey strange looking bag of food the dogs knew this was a very odd bag of doog food
